Remote access software

Anybody know of any good (free if poss) remote access software i have tried pcanywhere but cant get connected have spent an age trying to configure it but no joy (will connect to a friends comp as a test) but not the comp i want it to connect to, i know it may be a prob with other comp so before i have to trek to the others comps location thought i might try an alternative first. Thanks

Have had alook at logmein there are two versions free n paid (pro) was looking at the free version till i saw there was no file transfer or remote printing included, have to go for the pro edition for this feature which one do you use

Don't need to support loads just, one comp to another but will prob need file transfer n printing options.
