I've a network consisting of computers/LAN Printers and a DVR 16-Camera Station connected to a DG834PN router on ADSL connection. There is no server and all the PC's etc are connected directly to the router.

I want to access the web panel of the DVR station so one can view the live streaming outside the business like at home etc.

Within the LAN, one can remotely connect via a web panel via the url http://192.168.0.20 etc.

I've heard a VPN connection maybe required.

Does anyone have any ideas as to setting this up?

Cheers.

As said, you just need to sort port forwarding on your router. All this entails is using your Router's GUI to set port 80 on the router to forward to 192.168.0.20.

Ensure that your camera web GUI has a username and password otherwise everyone will be watching. :)
