basically, i will hopefulyl be getting a new computer and was thinking due to uni halls being stupidly slow and banning everything was going to leave this one at home and all set up.
The reason why is so I can use a remote access (phone my dad up and be like, oi dad, turn it on and then select "yes") so i can continue using torrents and what not, as i know last year I couldnt use them (althought iam going into accomodation)
This will hopefully be faster than 256kps connection (i would hardly call 4xthe speed of dial up fast broad band connection) and torrents.
So...after all that spraffing?
Anybody got any suggestions of software to use to do this? As said dont need to turn it on from afar, just need something where I can take controll to select what i want then will allow me to copy them over onto my other computer.
