I have been given permission by my uni's IT dept to access a designated PC remotely. This is to save me having to travel to uni everyday to complete my summer project. The PC at uni is running on Windows XP Professional and I am using a MacBook Pro at home. I have downloaded the remote connection software, for mac, from the microsoft site and I am able to connect and access the PC remotely. However, the problem is that when connecting via my MacBook I am not able view the remote access window in full screen. In fact it is only about a quarter of the size it should be, the green button on the left hand of the mac menu does not appear on this window and I have no way of maximising the window. Is there anything I can do about this? Is it just an issue owing to the fact I am using a MacBook and trying to connect to a Windows based computer? If I use my old Windows XP based laptop to connect I can view the remote access window in full screen, however, this laptop is old / slow and it is rather frustrating when trying to use such a sluggish computer. Is there anybody out there who can help me?
