Hi all,

What would you recommend as a remote assistance tool for OSX? I want something I can use to remotely connect to my parents iMac, from my own for support purposes.

Something similar to 'remote assistance' in windows would do fine, ie free :p

Any suggestions? Thanks,

Grant

Log me in is my support tool of choice, use it acorss a number of friends and families PC's and Macs.

Can control them from iPhone, iPad and any computer I have internet access from.

I like Log Me In for support (especially when used for the older folk :p) because you don't have to do anything for you to gain access. Obviously, it needs to be configured to run on start up, but that's pretty much invisible to the end user.

Yes, Teamviewer is good (we use it at work).. but if you don't know the machine code or the password string it can be annoying to ask someone who's not literate with computers to look for the details you need.
