Is it possable to have a linux box "wake up" over the internet ?

) my dads house has 10 meg :O! and i have 2meg capped ;/ so im gonna shift my linux pc to his. But he doesnt want it to be running 24/7 and i cant drive to turn it on all the time the system is running the current fedora core and i cant find a option in any of the menus for wake up on ping

woundlt the Box be urning its self on all the time though? as there is a lot of pings out there?

You'll just need to forward the required port to that machines IP. Make sure you have assigned that machine's mac address a static IP.

www.portforward.com is vbery useful for this kind of stuff.
