My uncle has problems with windows and i don't have time to go all the way to his place to see it.

He doesn't know a thing about PC's, but he does have an internet broadband connection. but i can't ask him to configure VNc or the router for remote connection.
I've worked with some IT companies where I'd get sent a file and double clicking it would connect the person to my computer. and I would like something similar to send to my uncle.

Any ideas?
free ideas of course :)

i've been using teamviewer quite a bit recently and i really like it...you can have a full-fat version at your end and just a customer-module version at the remote end. if you download the full version and install it, then have him download the customer module, no install required on his part or anything it just runs...it generates an i.d. and passcode...he gives you the i.d. and passcode, you punch them into your client and voila, job done. give it a go, it's great!

Not a fan of it, but you could get him to open an account with something like logmein and use that to connect to it.

As above UltraVNC singleclick or pchelpware (requires some configuration from you), once on his machine install Logmeinfree on it.

Thanks.
UVNC Single click works after a bit of config, but that teamviewer is so quick and easy to use. Thanks a lot for the help guys.
