Remote connection

Hi all, I am looking for a tool for remote connection to the computer in the office.
I found an article with a review of the top 10 tools https://www.helpwire.app/blog/free-remote-desktop-connection-mac/ there are many, each has its own pros and cons, I am confused!
What ways do you use? I need to connect from Mac to Windows. I would really appreciate any help!

As above, I use the Microsoft RDP client.

RDP if you can VPN into the network or there's a RDG; otherwise TeamViewer is one of the simplest options (for external access) and performance is pretty decent between Mac and Windows.

VNC between Mac/Windows works but it's pretty dire and you would ideally want to tunneling into the network any way.
