Remote controlled......

Hi Guys and gals,
I'm after a present for someone along the lines of a remote controlled plane/helicopter/boat. The only slight difference is I want one that you have to build first to keep him occupied for a while.

As far as I know he has never flown a plane or helicopter before, so something relatively idiot proof would be good. Also only looking to spend around £100-£150 if at all possible.

I know there are a few of you out there into this sort of thing so what do you recommend?

OK, I take back the idiot proof part, just something that isn't massively complex for a beginner. He's not stupid (Navy officer) so I imagine he should be able to get to grips with something.

I think outdoor would be best, as he lives in a flat and I don't think he has enough room for flying indoors.
