Remote Desktop Access- Scammed for Money

I wonder how they pick their customers? I mean we get cold called all the time, recorded messages etc but I haven't had this one yet. I wonder how he'd react to a p2-300 thinkpad running windows 95

Had 5 of my friends over the past few weeks call me about these scam phone calls. The dead give away, is always,

"Hi, I am **** calling from Windows"

Yeah, when did Windows become a company name?!?!?!?
Strangly enough all of my friends who have had these phone calls are all with BT broadband........

I had it and i'm on virgin media for phone and bb, so they can get you anywhere really.
