Remote Desktop doesn't work from inside my local town

What's the TTL on DYNDNS set to for the sub domain you use?

"TTL value is 60 seconds. Edit TTL..." from DynDNS

Can you ping your IP?
No, the router isn't set to respond to ping requests though.

I'd assume it's something in O2's routing?
This is exactly what I think, but the guys at o2 are only helpful to a certain point, once you get to their routing system they tell me they can't help because it's technically working.

Also, does your RDP pc have OPEN NAT? added to DMZ?

It's not no, as I understand this means in front of the firewall? If so, I'd rather keep it behind it permanently, though I don't mind testing it.

Thanks! I'm looking through the think broadband topic now but don't have an account with Be to look through the Be forum one :(

YAY! Thanks so much, I checked through that topic and enabled "Force broadcast ARP on WAN link" and it's now working!

Apparently this may not be a permanent solution but hey, it's something!
