Remote desktop for mac?

Hi. I've got a mac computer i want to access to over the network, but can't find a decent server. VNC free edition doesn't work with mac, and i can't find any others.

anyone have any ideas?

OS X has a VNC server built into it, go onto sharing prefrences and tick desktop sharing
