Remote Desktop Logging off

Is there a way to log off from remote desktop that will return the other person pc to normal (not show the "this pc is logged in by blah blah.." screen) or that doesn't log the persons pc out?

there's no way to do it with rdp. If you want that capability then you'll have to use something else eg vnc

RDC was not built to share a session between the local and the remote user. Maybe what you are after is VNC, LogMeIn or Remote Assistance?
