Remote desktop port forwarding on a Netgear 834GT How???

I'm trying to connect to a server via Remote desktop computer software in windows.

But when i try i get a message saying i can't i have been told i need to open up port 3889 in my router.

I really don't know how to do this and I'm hoping someone can help me out please?

I have a netgear 834GT from sky and windows XP.


I really need to get this working if anyone can help me please.

Security > Services > Add Custom Service
Start & End port 3389, TCP

Security > Firewall Rules > Inbound Services > Add
Seelct Service from dropdown and under send to LAn server enter your computers IP

where are you trying to connect from? another computer in your house (in the same network) also some details of the two pcs (the client and host) and any firewall and security software they're running
