Remote desktop with windows 10 home

Hi all! So I was trying to get a system running headless which has windows 10 home installed, but did not realise that remote desktop is not possible with the home edition!

I understand that rdpwrap is a work around, but ive also read that it has problems of its own (locking users out, problems when windows updates etc).

Can anyone recommend any free, safe, simple solutions?? Many thanks!

If your not dead-set on windows stick Linux on it with X2Go server, and X2Go client on whatever you want to connect from.

A popular alternative is VNC but you'd want one of the variants with better security if its exposed to the internet.
