Remote Help

Hi guys,

what is the quickest way for me to help someone out with me being on a mac and them on a windows machine (they're not sure which version)

they're completely un-savvy so i need a method which requires absolute minimum input from then to give me access, is there any quick way which simply requires them to press "allow" or something?

logmein would require him to download and install the free client i think, and i think VNC would require port forwarding?

seriously guys, he is completely out at sea when it comes to computers, i had to explain copy and paste!
