Hi

If there a reason why when remotely installing an OS via the iLO2, it only seems to transfer at 10mb/s, when the port is 100mb/s.

According to the switch, the iLO port is running at 100mb/s Full Duplex, but data is crawling along.

Cheers

It's always been the same due to it being an ILO session which has to get transferred from your computer / CD drive and then transferred over HTTP to the ILO then transferred from the ILO to the server.

Hence I only use it in an emergency.

Probably best to try and setup some form of pxe booting, which OS are you installing on what hardware?

As the others have said - its damn slow. No way of speeding it up too :(

Seek alternative such as the PXE boot as suggested above.

I'm assuming the kit is based remotely ?
