Hello clockers

I’m sure this has been asked before I have found a few threads on this but am still unclear what it Is I need to buy the setup I am working towards is the IKEA Besta units. In the unit I will have a sky box. A Mag streaming box and possibly a DVD player. I am wanting something to be concealed inside the unit to enable my remotes to work when the units are closed. Could anyone advise me on what it is I need to buy. I am not wanting to spend a fortune on this (under £50) must be concealed inside the unit as I have already chased cables into wall.

Google for IR Repeater kit.

What you should find is kits with a box (USB or mains adapter powered), 2/3/4 IR emitter cables, and 1x IR Receiver eye on a cable.

The name of the game is to get IR from outside the cabinet to inside and directed over the IR receiver window on each of the devices to be controlled. As such then, this shouldn't involve doing anything with the.cables in the wall.
