Remote Keyboard/Mouse with decent range

Good morning Chaps...

I'm looking for a remote keyboard/mouse combo with a decent range for my lounge set-up... I'll be sitting roughly 6-8m away from the 40" screen.... and will be playing FO3/Oblivion mainly as well as the usual media antics (prob will also pickup a windows remote).


I have an old Logitech effort that, while looking sweet, is damn poor after about 3 metres...

Do you have any recommendations for a decent KB&M combo that'll work reliably at 8m?

Cheers mate.... Have you used either of the above to state if the claims true?

Most of the 2.4ghz advertised models state 10m range - I was wondering whether there were users on here that could give experience on whether true or not.

If all 2.4ghz models are effective I'll try pick up a set for sub £40
