What I'd like to do is really simple. I'd like to have a PIR by the gate and a couple of spots up the wall by the roof.
Is there a system where the PIR can send a signal to a box that allows the spots to be turned on? I know this can be done using conventional wiring but this doesn't allow you to move the PIR around to find the best detection location for summer and winter.
There are many of these types of systems already but they ALL trigger an alarm / bell in the house and nothing else!

Can anyone suggest anything?

The lights i need to turn on are security LED spots made by 3rd parties. Is there a box i could connect those to, to make it work with the Hue system?

It would be hard to have home assistant running somewhere tbh. The Quinetec stuff looks better maybe.
So, would I need one of their PIRs to detect overall, and one wireless switch receiver per spotlight outside and nothing else?
