Remote Power Control

Some of you dedicated server guys may be able to help me here. I am looking for a decent power switch which is controlled over a network. The twist is that most of them are either really expensive or look like a school project.

The scenario is as follows: Where I work we use 2 Allen & Heath iDRs to control music routing around the building. Sometimes these break, and because they work with each other (but are at different ends of the building) they need resetting. Ideally I am after 2 single-socket remote power controllers which can be logged into over a network and powered off and on in tandem with each other, so the 2 iDRs pick up the settings off each other as they boot.

Is this possible?

Thanks

some UPS can connect to a network so that powerlevels and such can be monitored over the network, may be worth checking out if things like turning power on/off to a specific plug is possible too. im sure some are proberly advanced enough for that, but im not sure if any UPS that allow proper remote management of power are within your price range.

APC make their masterswitch range which certainly do what you want, we have them for all our datacenter kit and they work nicely, i've no idea how much they cost however...
