Remote RGB Crossover

Hi All,
Recently you helped me solve a connector problem to get my replacement CPU fan's RGB working! many thanks for that, it now has its own supply and remote control.
the only issue is that it also controls my case fans! and vise versa! but no way can I get them to match because they have different presets and colours. I know both remotes will be sending out something along the 2.4ghz bandwidth, but is there a way to separate them enough to avoid the crossover signal? there's a pic of the 2 controllers below, the left one is for my Alpenfohn CPU fan, and the right one for my 6 case fans,

Any help appreciated as usual.

Everyone seems to use the word frequency and think these are 2.4GHz but generally they're infrared like TV remote controls. Look at the business end you point at the device. Is there an LED? You can check by holding it up to your phone camera and pressing buttons. It will blink purple if it's an infrared LED.

There' may be a button combination to try and sync them
Used to do it with cheap led strips remotes
If for example you were pressing red but getting green, pressing blue but getting red and so forth
It would go through different attempts until it was displaying the correct thing for whatever button you were pressing
Though you had to keep doing it manually it didn't auto scan so to speak
But been so long since I did it I can't remember how
Think there were 7 different possibilities is all I remember :(
Ie if after 7 attempts it did not sync them then it wasn't going to

@UnLuckyBenski You're quite right! they are infrared! isn't that a more directional signal? ie, could I get away with being more accurate with my aiming?
Exactly! I test TVs at work and we have a wall of them side by side. If I'm having interference problems I often tape a business card over the receiver on one telly. If I really need something to stay as it is, I use a couple of layers of electrical tape. You may be able to get creative :)
