Anyone use any good software to monitor if a remote server goes down, i normally use nagios for all the servers on the same network but I'm looking to monitor a few server in a few different locations on completely different networks, any good web based products with client installs

thanks

Rich

Server Density? Ruxit? Those are the better cloud-based monitoring solutions. Then you've got the links of Pingdom for website only, .. Monitor.us is another one, theres quite a few.

We have a central install of PRTG with remote probes inside multiple networks which feed data back. Very strong if your network is Windows centric.

I use Pingdom it sends you an email or text whenever it can't ping your server.

Edit sorry never read properly.

I use the 100 free sensor PRTG at home and at work. Ideally we need the 300 sensor at work, but I have no budget!
