remote session on sever2008 wont let me click on 'exe' files

So i presume this is a security policy? but i kinda need to do this SQL migration. I have the domain administrator logon and password, so where do i change this? is it a setting in active D?

Have you tried right click 'Run as administrator' when logged on as the domain admin. Even though you're on as a domain admin, server 2008 sometimes needs elevated privileges.

I don't see why there would be a policy in place, and if there is it should exclude administrators.

yeah tried right click, i called the school i support and they rebooted and still no joy, someone said to me that in 2008 you can disable 'remote' rights which include admin, but dunno on that, i should properly do some googling!
