Anyone know any good software, that would allow a connection over the net? One that is downloadable by the client and requires no setup by them? Now i know of vnc and thats not an option. But someone i know came across teamviewer.com and it seems pretty good. Anyone know of any others?

Try EchoVNC (the remote support system download) - you can use their test server for 5-10min sessions, or buy a licence for ~£20 to run your own echoserver.

Works through all firewalls/routers that allow outgoing connections, as the server acts as a relay(so no need to get holes opened in the firewall.)

Also - everyone gets their own username, so you don't have to ask peeps for their IP address.

The package includes a little program (echoWinVNC) that you can upload to the web/send in an email that they just launch, click OK - and then there is a secure, encrypted session to their desktop available.

Only thing I would say is make sure that when you connect, you set the connection settings to modem/low speed network - otherwise you will think its slow (its trying to do 32-bit desktop transfer, with all the bells and whistles by default)
