remote software

I want to use my Iphone as a remote device to control my Shuttle Media PC, this would be stuff like VLC player etc.
Have tried the demo of intelliremote and the phone software, but find it lags abit to much for my liking, puts me off paying the $24 for the full software.
Does anyone have any experience of this.

Logitech TouchMouse is pretty funky.

It doesn't "control" your media, but it gives you kb/mouse, which when I'm sat on the sofa, is much easier than getting up and grabbing the keyboard/mouse!

checked out both but seems itellimouse interface is a lot better than both of them. shame about the lag.
