Remote wake up from sleep?

I tried googling this, found one thing but couldn't get it to work so I'm here asking you lot

I have the pc go into hybrid sleep, and it wakes up fine via wired mouse/keyboard.

But is it possible to get it to wake up from a wireless xbox 360 controller?

When it's in sleep, it doesn't give power to the crossfire thus the controller cannot connect.

I've tried the MCE Standby Tool, but that didn't work.

Anything I can try?

If you set the receiver to stay awake 24/7 in device manager and allow it to wake up the computer it should all be good, its how my MCE remote works

have a look under USB controllers and see if it shows up in there.

Nothing that identifies it as the receiver.. looks similar to yours but without the eHome thing obviously.

If you buy the MCE remote, that can wake from sleep. It uses IR over USB

But that costs money!

Trying to do it without spending anything, being a student and all that.

Someone must know something?!
