Remotely activate icloud?

Hi guys, my boss had his macbook pro stolen last night, it had all his accounts and personal pictures on it etc.

He did not have an icloud account set up, so i'm just wondering if there is anyway that you can remotely activate icloud on the stolen mac, using the serial number or something, and then trace or wipe the macbook clean?

Sounds a little far fetched, but just wanna know if we have any options in trying to recover the macbook.

Can't be done. iCloud had to be activated before it was stolen.

Great idea but not possible I'm afraid.

Everytime I read a "stolen macbook pro" post I feel safe knowing I have Prey installed on mine

Thanks for the Prey link Deku, i'll def install that on my mac.

Will it be worth to just wait for the new OS and activate icloud and depend on that, or is it worth me installing Prey as well?
