I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 on my work PC as a bit of a learning project, and I want to do some configuration remotely before I'm back in on Tuesday.

Is there a way to remotely install VNC or a remote desktop alternative? Something equivalent to PSEXEC in Windows would be great.

If it helps I have access to a virtual machine running on the Ubuntu box and other Windows boxes local to it.

Thanks in advance.

Fairly sure it's not installed by default. If it is it won't be configured.
I'm afraid there's not much you can do remotely without it. :(
