Hi,

I have been asked to set someone up with a single POP3 account that can be accessed via a desktop PC and a remote laptop.

They want to be able to view the same inbox, sent items and calander on both computers.

Is this possible?

Cheers,

ICE

Using IMAP instead of POP will sort the mail out, but not the calendar. There's no easy way to keep them in sync, bar some dirty robocopy batch jobs or something.

Not using Exchange I take it?

Never heard of IMAP, it turns out that the calendar isnt so much of an issue now.

What does moving over to IMAP involve? What are the negatives?

The desktop accesses the PST which are stored on 2003 server, but it is not running exchange.

Cheers,

ICE
