Just need alil help on Removable Drive Encryption. Sorry if theres a Thread, I didnt see anything useful on the Search.
I have a Portable HDD with App's, Photos, Music, Course work etc and me being me will probably leave it lying around one day! (Meaning someone will be perving on my pics, jacking my 'tasteful' music and course work
)
I now want this 'password-ed' or even better encrypted.
But I would like the following:
* Currently FAT32 (like to keep it that way for my PS3 But not Essential)
* Needs to be able to stop others so much viewing the data
* Needs to work on PC's without Admin rights (use it at school a lot [WinXP SP2])
* Needs to work with Vista Ult. 32bit (for home)
* Basically Plug n Play, So go to Any PC and enter a password or add the key to the PC and Bingo!
* Ideally not have all my data in Zip/RAR'd files with passwords as thats not really helpful.
It seems to be a hard spec to fill tbh =/
Ive looked at trying Truecrypt with ticks all boxes (I think?) execpt the Admin Rights so is kinda useless.
Any Idea's? Obv the main problem is compatability between the PC's and Rights.
