Removable fence ideas

Hello!

I have a pool in the garden and now I have a toddler I am thinking of putting a low fence around it for safety. But I want to be able to remove bits of the fence when needed.

The fence needs to be a square edged U shape with sides of at least 3.2m by 5.8m by 3.2m.

My current idea is to create a picket fence, using 900mm pales and 75mm by 75mm posts held in by post spikes. The idea being that I can then remove a section of fence when needed.

I am also looking to keep costs down.

So the question is, beyond a picket fence does anyone have any other ideas for a toddler proof removable fence, that wont cost the earth?

Not the right size but something similar

Use wooden fence posts which have the channels cut out of them (like the concrete ones). Cut them down to the night you need and then make up what ever fence you want to use in the middle. When you want to take the section out just lift it out. Picket fence should be really light.
