Removable hard drive in my 360 not recognised

Hi,

Basically what my title says, I usually use a little 2gb memory stick that the 360 recognises fine as a portable device, just plugged in a 120gb external hard drive and the 360 doesn't recognise it as a portable device.

Any ideas?

AFAIK doesnt it only recognise partitions upto 16gb for external drives?

You maybe right, I went into options and 'configured' the drive for the 360 (it recognised it there) and it seems to have sorted it to be used!
