Hello,

I’ve got an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro fitted on my ASUS P5N-E motherboard, within a Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case. I’m not happy with the temps as I’m getting very similar to the stock cooler, I want to reseat the Freezer Pro just to confirm its sitting correctly. However, I’m not sure how I take this of the motherboard as it seems to be fitted very securely (obviously that’s a good thing!). Anyone have any tips as to how I remove this without snapping anything!

I’m hoping I don’t have to remove the motherboard…

Cheers

You push down and twist the clips the opposite way, then you should be able to just pop them out. Just remember you usually need some new paste to put it back on with.

get a dinner knife or screw driver and screw the pin/screws the opposite way that the arrow is (anticlockwise). then pull them up as high as they go, when all the pin/screws are out of the mobo give the HS a tiny wiggle and pull.
