So, I was fiddling with my new TV and thought hey Panel Lock must lock down the resolution.

The thing is now enabled and I don't have a remote, and the TV is now in standby and won't respond to my wishes.

Anyone know how to remove panel lock? It's a 40LV665D for reference.

Not my most proud moment being a complete techy.

Haha, I can't access menus or take it out of standby, as the controls are locked :D.

Was hoping they'd be a secret combination to press or something, did check the manual. I'll just have to wait until the remote is brought around :(.

I thought you could go directly to the "Locks" menu, & enter the four-digit PIN that you selected when you turned the Panel Lock feature on. You may have to scroll up or down to access this area
Press the "Up" or "Down" buttons on the remote until you reach the Panel Lock feature. Move the cursor to select "Off," and press "OK."

Don't have Toshiba any more, broke it,:o replaced it with a Sammy.
