Remove Passenger Footpegs

I'm looking to remove the passenger footpegs on my CB650r to clean up the look of the bike.

I cannot seem to find anywhere to size of the hex bolt these are held in with - my 6mm hex key does not fit.

Anyone know the size of the hex bolt these are held in with?

I don't have any other Allen key sizes to hand.
They are definitely hex bolts.

Was just wondering if someone knew the correct size and I could go buy the right key.
Either way more Allen keys are needed

Got the correct size, was an 8mm hex key
Bought a new set to cut out the guess work

@Snaggle thanks for the info on the MOT failure, honestly didn't think of that.
Footpegs have been kept and will go back on for MOT test

No got a whole new set
I did have a set previously but for some reason it just sent to 6mm

Got out on the bike today, was nice to blow the cobwebs off and clear the head
