Hi
I was at my mates last night and he brought a fantastic 2nd hand case a huge lian li. cant remeber what it was called but it was the daddy of cases  as i was in awe at his amazing purchase i noticed the cartoony stickers all over the case. my mate had a go just taking them off but the sticker come off but the back stayed on (dont you hate it when that happens ) we realised that these were print outs and stuck on with pritt stick. ( we made a swear out the the word pritt and had a giggle :) try and guess what it was) anyway to the point anybody got any ideas on how to remove these.

Thanks Hassan

If water doesnt get it off, WD40 is very good at sticky stuff removal. Failing that, some solvent.
Dont use a belt sander or angle grinder, this may ruin the finish.

I have used a hair drier to remove stickers, first test it on a area of the case to make sure it wont melt.

The if all ok stick it on max heat and heat up the sticker, it may peal away much easier and not leave the back of it behind.

For removing any further slight stickyness, I have used before either nail polish remover (again check that it does not remove the paint) and also Braun Shaver Cleaner (its an alcohol based spray (available from all good Chemists), that seems to have millions of uses other than cleaning electric shaver foils and heads)

Do a google for 3m Adhesive remover I swear by it fella, places like Homebase and B&Q sell it.

It in a small tin like the 3 in 1 oil

thanks for all the replies ill try the wd40 and if that fails were thinking of using the steam from a kettle (remove components first of course :D)

ill get back with results hopefully.

right then the result

steam= FAIL (steam not enough and uncontrollable)

wd40=FAIL ( me and my mate got covered with it vapour and mist all in the room and i then realised my mate was smoking at the same time i was spraying:eek: could have been like the pic below only bigger.)
