remove thermal paste from CPU and cooler?

What are the best products to remove thermal paste from my cpu and cooler so i can add an aftermarket cooler on?

Anything i can pick up from a supermarket?

I've always just use meths and kitchen towel, never had a problem.

I've always read that Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol is good but i have never used it myself. I use Akasa TIM Clean which you can buy from OCUK, it worked very well for me.

Always used arcticlean + a lint free cloth/tissue

this, to be honest or kitchen roll, just keep polishing it until no more black smudges appear on the toilet roll.

Rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth (or toilet roll!). I think some cleaning products leave a residue.
