Remove time limit on Rome Total War?

Hi

Is there anyway to remove what year the deadline to take over the world is in campaign mode?

dunno about removing it but there are mods out there that make it 4 turns = 1 year

In the campaign settings text file theres a start and finish date for the campaign that you can alter within reason. The game is easy enough for most factions to win well within the time limit though

edit with notepad:
Rome - Total War\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt
search for 'end_date'.

edit: descr_strat.txt, for some reason the above includes a space in the file name :confused:

i can't get rid of it lol
