Remove Windows.old

Hi,

Does anyone know how to remove this annoying Windows.old folder? If I try using the Disk Cleanup included with windows it wont work...

I've always just pressed delete?

I believe disk cleanup does it as well

Run disk cleanup, tick the box which iirc is something like clean system files.
Disk clean up then reloads and you can then select windows.old and delete it.

OP, if you can't delete it the way Glaucus says.. take ownership of the folder, then delete it.

Google how to take ownership.
