Remove wordpress image on facebook

how do i remove (or change) the image that comes up as the thumb nail when posting a photogrpahy site on facebook (and other places)

it seems to choose one of the images from the site to use/ which i dont want

are these called gravatars ?

No they aren't gravatars.

Facebook will primarily use the og:image meta information to select an image to use. You can check what site data is being pulled properly through the facebook link debug tool, https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Is it your wordpress site? There are multiple methods for managing your page's og:image, through plugins or additions to your theme.
