Removeing TIM

What is the best thing to use to remove the TIM? nail varnish and some toilet paper?? How do you do it?

i use lighter fluid and some ear bud thingies.

Get some proper TIM remover. At a pinch you can use something like surigical spirit but even this is only about 97% alcohol and so will leave a very slight residue.

Ive been using electrical contact cleaner, seems to work pretty well.

you could always try a chemical supplier like aldrich? but probably only sell it in litres

paint thinner melts it off. also carberator cleaner in a spray can.

Get Akasa TIM clean, i use this and Kleenex, does the job. My CPU and Zalman like the Aloe Vera
