So I have a small clip of HIMYM I wan't to use as a message tone on my phone.

I have the clip in MP3 but obviously it has a laugh track in it, Audacity has a voice removal effect which means I now have a track with just the laughing I want to remove.

What I want to know is, is there any way to get Audacity to remove that audio from the original clip? eg

Original Track -
Laughing Track

If not is there another way I can get rid of the laugh track or at least reduce it?

Unless you're got good audio software (and the skills to use it), it's pretty hard to remove parts from audio unless they're split into seperate streams.

Photo editing is far easier than audio editing

Yeah.... I've been reading its difficult... But I thought there'd be away to somehow remove the laughing (As I have that on its own), almost subtracting it from the original if you get what I mean? But Obviously its not as simple as that.

You can use noise removal like that, but because laughter isn't a constant regular/similar sound it probably won't work too well.
