Hi

I want to remove the molex connector on my waterpump, because part of the wire near the end is semi broken, which sometimes means if its moved my pump stops.

What do i need to take it off and then put back on further down the wire?

obviously something to strip the wire, but what about removing the molex?

you need a tool ... you can get it in a psu modding kit ive seen by AC ryan but thats at a competitor. its basically a little tool which allows you to take off the molex plastic connector thing and put it back on if neccesary

i managed to remove the metal pins out of a molex connector using a biro with the cartridge removed

not quite sure what you intend on removing/replacing, but i would have though cutting the wires, then crimping and taping over would work.

the hyphan (sp?) indicates the wire. Its semi broken, i just want to remvoe the molex, cut the wire before it breaks, strip and re attack to the molex basically.

Managed to find a tool off the net somewhere. Cost me £3.50 with postage :)

Thanks :)
