I am being an idiot but i cant get the bloody thing off. It is in so tight i cannot remove it to clean it.. i was wondering wether there was a clip on it and if there is - i can't get to it.

Any ideas please

Cheers MAgoo

could be either a flexible "lug" at the PCI-e socket furthest away from rear of pc which requires pushing laterally, or a press down latch at same position

good luck

My asus board has a lug that you need to pull to get the card out. Its hard enough with a single with card.

I wouldnt like to try it with a double with card :)

have broken a little bit of the plastic on the opposite of the lever, but the lever itself is lodged between the iceq cooler and the northbridge? fan i can't push it down enougn to get under the cooler to push or pull it

I'M STUCK - HOT & SWEATY!

I can't see any other way than bit by bit braking down the lever!

It's definetly dust causing the overheating problems as some of the fins look quite clogged, but if i not careful i'll brake the card or even worst the board...

Mine doesn't have a clip for the PCI express slot.

It does worry me though, the card doesn't seem to sit very well in the slot, seems stable enough though?

i broke mine by mistake the other day.. as long as your not wobbleing your comp around or anything.. its fine..
