After one of my cans split on my Aprilia Falco (and having to fit the standard ones) I thought I might as well remove the Power Commander.

I've had a quick read of the installation instruction, but as I've never played with one before, I was hoping somebody could quickly confirm what I'm doing is correct :)

Do I remove the things shown with the red arrows & plug the connectors indicated with the blue arrow in it's place?

The only thing is it still has a K&N air filter in the box. Would that matter?

Cheers

Yeah it'll be up for sale pretty soon as it costs shed loads more to run than my Fazer....oh and my wife's pregnant!

Just thought it may be doing more harm than good without the exhausts on there.

I'll sell the bike standard (bar the K&N and braided hoses) and hopefully sell the Power Commander and Ohlins steering damper seperately. And if I decide to get the Quill repaired, them also.

It's off now. Very easy to remove.

I've not taken it out but seems fine pottering up the drive & putting it in the garage.

I've not got a laptop, so unable to load anything onto it (unless I set my desktop up in the garden lol)

I wondered what the cable with the 9v battery was for! lol

I'm selling the Falco soon dude, might as well take the good bits off and make as many pennies as possible. Didn't really think it was worth keeing on there with standard cans.
