Our plasterer has been in (now on holiday) he has somehow managed to remove the radiator from the wall with the water still in it. He mentioned to the wife I would need to lie it down flat to re-install it attach it and then lift it back onto the brackets on the wall. Is that normal? I would have thought it should be drained and then taken off / re-fitted ?

Any advice appreciated

Managed to do the twist on method with only a couple of drops of dirty water coming out, will perhaps use that again in the future. Cheers for the help folks
