Removing ads from WLM 9

I've always used the mess patch to get rid of the ads and customise MSN previously, but since WLM 9 came out, development seems to have come to a halt!

I'm not too impressed with A-Patch, plus I don't think it properly removes the ads in 9..

Anyway, is anyone aware of a working patch to remove the ads in 9?

A-Patch worked for me. Removed the ad on the contact list window, and some of the other stuff. Fortunately the latest version of WLM has a lot less bloat than previous versions, so there's not much that needs to be removed in the first place.

Ahh, not tried the light version, I assumed that seeing as the 'full' patch hasn't been updated in ages, that the light version would have been updated either

A-Patch works perfectly well.

Ahh, just gave A-Patch another go and yup - seems to have done the trick!

Mess patch light removes the ads, but also leaves the place-holders there.
