Removing ASUS LCD Poster

Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums and I need some help. On my Asus Rampage II Gene Board, I have this lcd poster which wont come out of the little plug it connects to. It's honestly a mission and I don't want to force it out and rip the wires or anything. Has anyone got a solution to this? As it's doing my head in having to take the io plate out to remove the motherboard from the case.

Pull it from side to side, you do have to force it a bit to get it out.

if it doesnt come out, get a pair of needlenose pliers and pull gently

had 2 different boards with that thing... pulled both of them out leaving the plug in the connector

pointless little tool tbh, tells you about as much as having a mini speaker in and less hassle

i quite liked it displaying temps, especially when you have the extra probes fitted (on the extreme).
it could be improved though by having a better cable.

I eventually broke a wire by removing it multiple times, had to get it soldered.
