removing avg

Hi,

I removed avg 7.5 and tried to update to avg8..

bad mistake...

now i cant get avg anything on there...

i am using vista so tried going into program features but windows kept crashing...

so removed the fies in c: programs.

now nothing avg goes on to my system, it just hangs in instation..

advise me what to do -

If you can't install AVG then switch to Avast or AntiVir. Both better solutions than AVG, unless you've paid for AVG?

Are there any AVG files or folders still hanging around? You might need to delete them or use Unlocker if they are locked.

Also give CCleaner a try and see if the registry clean picks up old AVG stuff. Or RegSeeker can do that. RS has a search function so you could search for AVG entries and delete them.
